PREASSEMBLED MAN DOOR & FRAME : Installation Instructions

Checklist:

Pre-Assembled Door & Frame
  • Man Door Slab
  • Header Flange
  • Footer Flange
  • 2 Side Frames
  • Rain Drip
  • 3 Hinges
Hardware
  • Door Lever Lock w/2 Keys
  • Rivets
  • Installation Guide
You need to provide the following
  • PPE - Eye Protection, Gloves, Hearing Protection
  • Angle Grinder
  • Power Drill(s) and Rivet Gun
  • Measuring Tape
  • Marking Pen

 

Step-By-Step Instructions:

  1. Mark out your door.
  2. Cut out the door starting with the bottom so gravity doesn't squish your angle grinder.
  3. Install top bulb seal (sold separately)
  4. Apply silicone
  5. Lift pre-assembled door & frame into place
  6. Drill and rivet the bottom corner of frame to make sure it remains square.
  7. Drill and rivet the rest of the door framApply silicone to create finished seal
  8. Install door handle hardware.
