The new high security lock box is designed around the 80 mm shackle lock and features an easy bolt-on installation.  The design has a locking mechanism that is completely encased to eliminate access to bolt cutters or angle grinders.

  • Fits all used shipping containers including steel and aluminum 53 ft containers.
  • Works on all semi van trailers with a distance of at least 5.75″ between the lock rods.
  • Fits: 8′, 9′, 10′, 20′, 40′, 45′, 48′ & 53′ Shipping Containers.
  • Durable powder coat finish – textured black.
  • Back washer plate doubles as stencil for marking exact drill-hole location.

RECURITY SYSTEM INSTALLER

Our new bolt-on lock box is designed around the 80 mm shackle lock and features an easy bolt on installation. Its design has a locking mechanism that is completely encased to eliminate access to bolt cutters or angle grinders. This lock box fits all used shipping containers including steel and aluminum 53's. It also works on all semi van trailers with a distance of at least 5.75" between the lock rods.

 

Installation Instruction:

 

STEP 1. MARK YOUR HOLE 

  • Choose the height at which you will install. This is a personal preference, typically 42" to 60% off the ground
  • The large backing plate is used on the right hand side. Mark both holes and underside
  • Using the large backing plate, draw a straight line from the right hand side to the left hand side
  • The small backing plate is used on the left hand side. The underside of the left plate should be level with the underside of the right plate.
  • Once the left hand backer plate is in the right position, mark both holes.

STEP 2. CHOOSE THE PROPER BOLT SIZE

  • Use 4 1/2" bolts for insulated doors and 3" bolts for non-insulated doors

STEP 3. DRILL HOLES AND INSTALL 

  • Drill out the two pilot holes with a starter drill bit through the door on the right.
  • Finish drilling the two holes with a stepped drill bit to 5/8”.
  • Place bolts into front section of the lock box and then place bolts through door, washer plate and washers.
  • Bolt to the door using a 3/4" socket driver or ratchet.
  • Drill out the two pilot holes with a starter drill bit through the door on the left.
  • Finish drilling the two holes with a stepped drill bit to 5/8”.
  • Place bolts through the lock receiver, door, washer plate and washers.
  • Bolt to the door using a 3/4" socket driver or ratchet. BERAT BETING.
  • Apply sticker and rest easy knowing your container is safe.
