After purchasing two 20’ CONEX boxes and setting them 20’ apart for later covering with roofing, I needed to better organize storage contents. These brackets are now fully installed. The cross members overhead are in place. I’ve added vertical material on one side and started adding verticals about 2’ inboard to use as shelving supports. The installation and assembly of the brackets went smoothly. The included fasteners were sufficient, with a few to spare just in case……
The instructions are incorrect. The first two pilot holes using the instructions as guidance were about three steps too large for the provided fasteners. After properly matching fasteners to drill bit size they did their job just fine.
I expected the brackets to be heavier/thicker. However, given the intended use, robust fastening and it’s inside a closed container, they are more than sufficient to build anything one could desire. I used 2 X 4 material to optimize storage space. There is no intent to insulate or otherwise finish this interior further.
The second container will have exterior solar panels attached to the side when the brackets are available, (promised this summer), and will probably be similarly outfitted inside for storage of various items and if the plan holds to expectations, solar hybrid inverter and batteries.
This may also require more robust environmental control such as venting, fans, etc. That may require more purchases of equipment to better outfit the container. I’ll be sure to check this site for the needed equipment.
Overall very satisfied with the brackets purchased. I intend to further outfit these containers over time.
